A movement for inclusivity in sports is gaining momentum in Mumbai, led by a passionate student Abhishek Jha from Sathaye College. Through a startup called CHAMPION’S ZONE, they’re set to revolutionize the sports sector, particularly focusing on underprivileged groups like Girls, Women, and Specially Abled Children.
As a pre-incubatee in PTVAIM’S COEI Preincubation Programme, Abhishek Jha’s startup, CHAMPION’S ZONE’s core mission is to manage turf grounds in educational institutions while organizing various sports events. Abhishek Jha and his team are gearing up for ‘खेळ-ऊर्जा,’ a special sports event tailored for specially abled children. This exceptional event is slated for November 29th at the Sathaye College Turf on Dixit Road.
With over 400 participants from 14 different schools in Mumbai, ‘खेळ-ऊर्जा’ promises to be a celebration of inclusivity and sportsmanship.
A highlight of the event includes a special blind cricket match in collaboration with the Mumbai Blind Cricket Team. Alongside cricket, ‘खेळ-ऊर्जा’ will feature individual sports like lemon spoon race, potato race, and go-to picnic. Participants will be treated to breakfast, snacks, and lunch, ensuring a memorable and empowering experience for all attendees.
In an effort to broaden the impact, Parlebazaar.com, a trusted digital partner, will showcase some of the moments, photos, videos, and highlights from ‘खेळ-ऊर्जा’ on their website and social media platforms both during and after the event.
